Eight candidates on Tuesday withdrew nominations filed for Quepem Municipal Council (QMC) elections. Two were disqualified as they were unable to furnish OBC certificate in OBC ward.
Now, 43 candidates are in fray for QMC as 3 candidates have already been elected, unopposed and two.
