Arvind Kejriw al, National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, on Wednesday visited the fam ily of late Siddhant Hegde, a NEET aspirant who alleg edly died following distress linked to the recent exami nation controversy. Kejriwal, accompanied by senior leaders of the party in Goa, met the bereaved family and expressed con dolences over the tragic in cident. During the visit, he appealed to students and youth across the country not to take extreme steps during difficult situations and urged them to remain strong and support one an other. Addressing the media after the visit, Kejriwal said inci dents linked to examination irregularities were deeply disturbing and stressed the need for accountability in the education system.
He alleged that several paper leak incidents had occurred in states governed by the Bharatiya Janata Par ty and accused BJP leaders of being directly involved in such controversies. He further alleged that the Central Bureau of Inves tigation was shielding the accused instead of taking strict action against those responsible. Kejriwal called upon citizens and students to raise their voices and de mand accountability to en sure such incidents do not recur in the future. “Students should not lose hope or take drastic deci sions.

Several Goa leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party were present during the visit, including Velim MLA Cruz Silva, Goa President Valmiki Naik, Senior Vice-President Sandesh Teleikar Dessai, Working President Gerson Gomes and Vice-President Roque Mascarenhas. The visit comes amid con tinued political reactions and public concern over al leged irregularities connect ed to competitive examina tions across the country.
