AAP member Dr Vibhas Prabhudesai pointed out the difficulties faced by not only the people but even medical staff due to the pandemic and said making life easy for all is the bounden duty of the govt.

“The State is going through unprecedented times. We are losing Goan lives every single day. In such difficult times the priority of the govt must be the health of the Goans. But the government seems to be least interested in it. The healthcare system in Goa is neither healthy nor caring and has no system,” he said

Referring to the  Chief Minister, Health Minister and Panjim MLA  promised the people a full-fledged medical centre at Ribandar, he said people, including the core committee have not taken into confidence over the matter since that time. In fact, the Urban Health Centre Health Officer had pointed out that the premises needed major works relating to flooring, plumbing and electrical fittings,” he said.

Dr Vibhas added that it was sad that the ruling BJP government has funds to purchase MLs, renovate the Raj Bhavan etc but has no money to provide health care facilities for the people.
