CANACONA: After having excelled in social networking skills at the national level to mobilise public support, the Aam Admi Party (AAP) has also taken traditional campaigning seriously in Canacona taluka.
With AAP South Goa candidate Swati Kerkar banking on silent votes to see her through, a number of AAP workers have been seen on a door-to-door campaign in different parts of Canacona taluka.
to the Canacona segment in-charge, the AAP activists have almost covered most areas of Canacona taluka, except for Gaondongrim and Cotigao.
“In the first leg of person-to-person contact, we have met prominent voters known to influence the voting pattern in the area and sought their blessings for the candidature of Swati Kerkar,” informed Ravi Komarpant.
