MARGAO: The Aam Admi party on Friday has requested the Supreme Court to immediately launch an investigation into the sources of funds of all the political parties, including the AAP.
Michael Ferns told the media here that the party is given to understand that a whopping Rs 2000 crore will be spent by various political parties in India on poll related communication. “The Congress party has earmarked a budget of Rs 500 crore for the advertising campaign whereas the BJP is close to unveiling Rs 400 crore ad blitz for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Polls,” he said.
He said more shocking is the news that the ruling UPA is concurrently running the Bharat Nirman campaign worth Rs 100 crore from the budget of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, which is the tax payers hard earned money.
Meanwhile, reacting to the statement made by Baba Ramdev calling the Aam Admi party a Junglee party, Ferns advised Baba Ramdev to play his role as a Yoga guru with politeness and talk about health, peace, love, understanding, unity and harmony to back up the teachings of Yoga and not indulge in cheap gimmicks to fool the people of Goa.
The Aam Admi Party also came down heavily on the government in the Canacona building collapse case and questioned the government’s decision to replace the Special Public Prosecutor in the case.
