BENAULIM: NCP’s Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao on Wednesday slammed the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia for his comment on ‘the AAP fulfilling the vision of the former Union Defence Minister and former Goa Chief Minister late Manohar Parrikar’s development of Goa.’
Speaking to the media persons, Churchill said, “AAP’s BJP link is being slowly revealed as it is Goa BJP Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant who has to fulfill the legacy of late Parrikar.”
The NCP MLA, who had offered conditional support to the present ruling BJP government, flayed the AAP former convenor Elvis Gomes and the Seraulim AAP workers.
He said, “AAP is the ‘B’ team of BJP as along with the BJP, they dislodged the then Delhi Congress Chief Minister late Sheila Dixit but why did they not win the seven parliamentary seats in Delhi despite attaining an absolute majority in the Delhi Assembly.”
He recalled the Opinion Poll movement in the late seventies when he claimed to be a teenager when Goans irrespective of their religion united to save Goa for their future generations as he underscored the need to preserve Goa, its ecology and identity.
Churchill said, “The (Revolutionary Goans or RG political party) uzzo (fire), AAP and BJP are all being financed by the same person who I will not name now but at the appropriate time. This individual desires to enter Goa, if Goans make a mistake with his two billions coal shipment from Australia and store it in Goa destroying the rivers, khazans and environment. Tourism will be ruined and Goans will repent later.”
