MARGAO: AAP’s Curtorim candidate Domnic Gaonkar, who contested the 2022 Assembly elections and three-time Zilla Panchayat member has decided to join the BJP.

Domnic on Tuesday said the AAP has failed to fulfil the promises made during the Assembly elections, and hence he has decided to resign from the party and is now joining the BJP for the betterment of his people and the constituency.
Reacting to the political development, AAP has stated that the BJP is harassing and blackmailing non-BJP leaders, and Domnic too has been targeted pertaining to his business activities.
Sources said AAP leaders are trying hard to convince Domnic to change his decision and remain loyal to the party, promising him with some offers.
“Contesting the elections on an AAP ticket has badly affected my political career”, claimed the three-time ZP member from Raia.
