MARGAO: An absconding assault accused was arrested by Vasco police on Tuesday. Samir Shaikh alias Chammu was wanted for his involvement in an assault case that occurred in Shantinagar last Sunday. The team of 5 Vasco police nabbed the accused from Bambolim for his offences committed and registered under Sections 504, 506 and 324 of IPC.
