It is to be noted that the Osia Complex houses various government offices including the South Goa District Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA).  “It is disgusting to see the open abuse of the commercial precincts of Osia Complex of Margao city by the migrants, whereby the authorities right from the SGPDA chairman and Margao Municipal Council (MMC) authorities have turned blind eye. Bathing, sleeping, and washing clothes from gutter water has become the order of the day,” said Vales. Citizens have also complained about the begging menace in the area and have also called for the rehabilitation of the child beggars.
