PANJIM: Bollywood actress Meghna Naidu, more known for her role in adult comedy’ Kya Kool Hai Hum 3′, has taken to Facebook to complain how tenants at Candolim looted her. The actress had rented out her apartment at Candolim and the tenants, who she claims faked their identity, decamped with her belongings and damaged expensive house articles.
According to her post, her caretaker in Goa rented out the apartment to two people who said they worked in New Zealand and are from Mumbai.
“They gave their Aadhaar card and driving licence as ID which turned out to be fake after investigating it. They have disappeared over night without paying the rent and have taken every bit of mine and Luis’s clothes, shoes bags, small speakers (we had maximum of our stuff here). They didn’t even leave behind our under wear and socks for that matter (everything they could take away in bags they have taken),” Naidu posted.
The post further says that statues and frames were broken, furniture moved around, lock on the door changed. “This doesn’t end here…They have fleeced my care taker for 85k giving her dreams of taking her son to New Zealand for work saying they need the money for paper work. They also have fooled another lady for 40k and another man for his land papers (copy of sale deed) saying they wana get the papers checked by their lawyer,” the post adds. She also posted a photograph of the couple on her Facebook page.
While the actress took to social media to announce the alleged incident, there is no police complaint filed yet. Herald contacted Calangute PI Jivba Dalvi who said he had not received any complaint from either the actress or her caretaker. “We have not received any complaint so far. Let her lodge a complaint, we will take action,” he said.
