PANJIM: Adv Atmaram N S Nadkarni, Senior Advocate and Additional Solicitor General of India attended the 15th Prosecutor General’s Conference of Shanghai Convention Organisations members states at St Petersberg, Russia.
He was nominated in the Government of India’s high level delegation to represent the country. The Indian delegation comprised of Adv Atmaram N S Nadkarni and Adv Pinky Anand, both Additional Solicitor Generals in Supreme Court; Anju Rana, Joint Secretary Ministry of Law; Anup Yadav, Joint Secretary in Ministry of Home Affairs and Arun Kumar Sharma, Consul General of India at St Petersburg.
The convention signed the Protocol document to bring in co-operation amongst member states to reign in the tax evaders, terrorist money launderers, drug trafficking, etc.
