It may be recalled that upon complaint from victim, Colva police registered an offence against the accused who fearing arrest moved for anticipatory bail. The complaint stated that in year 2012 at a hotel in Colva the accused Bandodkar on the pretext that he would marry her allegedly had sexual intercourse on several occasions due to which she became pregnant. Further that the accused abused, assaulted and threatened the victim with dire consequences if she did not abort the pregnancy, forcibly took her to a hospital in Ponda and without consent of victim aborted the said pregnancy in July 2012.
