Advisory for fishermen

PANJIM: The Indian Meteorological Department Goa observatory has warned fishermen from venturing into the sea due to rough sea conditions for next 24-hours.

PANJIM: The Indian Meteorological Department Goa observatory has warned fishermen from venturing into the sea due to rough sea conditions for next 24-hours. 
“North-westerly winds with speeds between 45 to 50kmph, temporarily reaching 55 kmph in gust or squall. Sea will be rough with north-westerly waves. Fishermen are advised not to go out in the sea during next 24-hours,” IMD said
 has cautioned. 
The soaring mercury has continued to hit Goa with IMD recording 35.8 degree Celsius Thursday, which is three degree above normal. The night temperature is slightly lower at 23.8 Degree Celsius. 
IMD has predicted maximum and minimum temperature to 35 and 24 degree Celsius for the next 24-hours.
