CALANGUTE: Two-time Calangute MLA Agnelo Fernandes filed his nomination papers for the Calangute constituency on Friday.
Fernandes filed two sets of nomination papers with Returning Officer Srinet Kothwale.
Fernandes was accompanied by Sarpanchas Fermino Fernandes (Candolim), Benedict D’Souza (Parra), Agostinho D’Souza (Arpora-Nagoa) and Calangute Panch Filipe Dias.
Meanwhile, Gajanan Naik has filed his nomination papers for the Saligao constituency as CPI candidate and Osbert D’Cunha as independent candidate. Both the candidates submitted their nomination papers to Returning Officer Jayant Tari.
