MARGAO: The Congress disciplinary panel has called suspended party heavyweight Aleixo Sequeira and South Goa district president Subhash Faldesai to appear before the panel later this week for a hearing on the notice issued to them for alleged anti-party activities.
Both Aleixo and his close aide Subhash Faldesai were placed under suspension by GPCC Chief John Fernandes for anti-party activities last month. Though the duo was issued show cause notices by the party chief, they are believed to have not replied to the notices till date. “The disciplinary panel has asked both Aleixo and Subhash to appear before the committee and reply to the charges of anti-party activities levelled against them. If the duo do not appear before the panel, the panel will chalk out the next course of action.
