Anjuna Police conducted a raid on December 18th, 2023, near
Fountain View Restaurant in Anjuna, Goa, resulting in the arrest of Mr. Stevin
Cleetes, aged 23 and originally from Kochi, Kerala.
The raid, carried out
by a team led by PSI Dhiraj Devidas and including officers Constable Ritesh
Mahale, Shamba Shetgaonkar, Amir Phadte, and Laxman Sawaldessai from the Anjuna
Police Station, led to the confiscation of illegal drugs identified as ‘Charas’
valued at Rs. 90,000.
The case has been registered as Anjuna PS Cr. No. 164/2023 under section 20 (b) (ii) (A) of the NDPS Act 1985.
The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of PSI
Dhiraj Devidas, with oversight from Shri Nidhin Valsan, IPS SP North Porvorim,
Shri Jivba G. Dalvi, SDPO Mapusa, and PI Prashal P.N. Dessai of the Anjuna
Police Station.
