CURCHOREM: Another 20 COVID positive cases were detected in the Curchorem Upgraded Primary Health Centre jurisdiction on Wednesday taking the tally to 122 cases.
According to health officials, 10 persons from Sanvordem including 9 family members from Anandwadi-Sanvordem tested positive.
A 26-year-old male has been shifted to COVID Care Centre.
The family members comprising of four females, a male and four children have asked for home isolation.
“At Xeldem, three females including a minor girl tested positive and at Cacora, a 56-year-old woman and another person from Bebquegal ward of Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC), who have been infected, have asked for home isolation,” an official disclosed.
Two males from Bebquegal and Kirlapal-Dabal, two others from Cacora and a 45-years-old woman from Pontemol, who tested positive, have been shifted to COVID Care Centre.
