MARGAO: Colva Police investigating the case of assault on karaoke DJ Ashwin Alavares have launched a search for the two accused.
Meanwhile, both the accused have moved an anticipatory bail plea in the case.
Colva Police Inspector Filomeno Costa informed that he has already acquired the hotel’s CCTV footage on Thursday which will prove to be vital evidence.
The PI said he and his team searched the houses of the accused but did not find them. The mobile phones of the accused have also been switched off since the incident. The police have recorded the statements of four witnesses in the case including the manager of the restaurant, where Ashwin was assaulted.
