Assembly summoned from July 19

PANJIM: The 12-day monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly will commence from July 19.

PANJIM: The 12-day monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly will commence from July 19. Goa Governor Dr Mridula Sinha on Monday summoned the monsoon session to last from July 19 to August 3.
The State cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar also granted its ex-post facto approval to summoning of session.
The monsoon session will see the passing of the State Budget. The Comptroller Auditor General of India (CAG) report for the financial year ending March 2017, may be also tabled during the session.
It is most likely that the Chief Minister may spell out the execution of the budgetary ideas during the session, which he failed to do while tabling the Budget due to his illness.
