PANJIM: The Atal Setu bridge will remain closed for the vehicular traffic for a period of ten days from March 17 to 27.
North Goa Collector Mamu Hage has issued an order for closure of the bridge during day and night time to shift heavy machines used for mastic coating and resurfacing works.

The order also states that the bridge would be closed only on need basis whenever the actual work is being undertaken and option to open the bridge would be kept in case of emergency.
The normal flow of the vehicular traffic on the parallel and surrounding roads and bridges will not be obstructed, the order stated.
