VASCO: An abandoned bag with cash of Rs 1.5 lakh was found at the Dabolim airport at around 2.10 pm on Sunday. The unattended bag (black colour hand bag) was noticed in domestic arrival area.
On being informed of the abandoned bag, officials searched the bag as per standard operating procedure. After searching, the bag was declared safe. During the course of physical search, Indian currency and some medicine were found in the bag with 300 currency notes of Rs 500 which Rs 1,50,000.
The bag with Rs 1,50,000 and all other belongings has been deposited at DTM office after making proper entry in lost and found register.
