The City Sessions Court Monday rejected the bail of Bhupendra Shukla who was arrested by Panjim Town police last month for his alleged involvement in international credit card fraud.
Panjim police had cracked the racket upon chanced arrest of six persons from Mumbai who were moving suspiciously in the city. Fraud involved cloning credit cards and using them to gamble in offshore casinos in the State.
The Sessions Judge Nutan Sardessai declined to grant bail application of the accused for prosecution submitted that investigation is still at preliminary stage.
