VALPOI: The twenty odd years old Bambar Rural Health centre, which was started in a private house, has been shifted to a nearby government school.
Nagargaon Sarpanch Prashant Marathe, Valpoi Community Health Officer Dr Abhijeet Wadkar, Health Officer Shyam Kankonkar, Swayampurna Mitra Nilesh Gawas, Deputy Sarpanch Samiksha Salelkar, panch member Laxmi Harvalkar, Health Inspector Gajanan Parsekar were present on this occasion.
The twenty-year-old health centre was recently upgraded with various health facilities. The decision to shift the health centre was taken considering insufficient space, and condition of the present premises.
The new premises will cater to citizens from Bambar, Nanora, Maloli, Kodal, Derode, Satre and surrounding villages.
