MARGAO: Benaulim gram sabha was adjourned to July 3 after only a few members turned up for the meeting. The proposals for the meeting were mentioned, but the same would be discussed at the next meeting.
One of the key issues that dominated the last gram sabha was the condition of the roads in Benaulim, especially, near Dando grounds.
It may be recalled that the gram sabha held on Sunday was the adjourned gram sabha and now this too has been adjourned. In the past, the Benaulim panchayat has been criticised for failing to hold gram sabhas as per the scheduled dates.
