BICHOLIM: Bicholim centre fared better than its Sanquelim counterpart with regard to the overall percentage of students who cleared the 2015 SSC exams. Bicholim scored 85.2 per cent, while Sanquelim scored 72.60 per cent.
921 students appeared for the exam at Bicholim centre, while 89 appeared with exemption. 479 were boys and 531 were girls; they achieved a pass percentage of 80.79 and 79.10 respectively.
843 students appeared for the exam at the Sanquelim centre, while 81 appeared with exemption. 486 were boys and 438 were girls. They achieved a pass percentage of 72.63 and 67.58 respectively.
