The organisers have promised a special affair this year since it coincides with Valentine’s Day. Events planned for the occasion will have involvement for all age groups.
Addressing the media, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai said many of India’s top DJs are expected to perform at the event. He said one of the highlights of the celebration will be the 3D projection mapping show that will be the first ever to be held in Goa. “The technology used for this show will be world class and is something Goans have never seen before,” he added.
The special invitee for the event will be Sana Saeed Khan, who had played the role of little Anjali in the Bollywood movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and who recently played the supporting role in the hit movie Student of the Year. Surprise Bollywood celebrities will also be attending the event.
Amongst the various competitions lined up for the event include a talent show for kids below the age of 14 years called ‘Fatorda’s Got Talent’ in which children will be given a platform to exhibit their talent in a variety of field, including dance, music, singing, acting, etc. A beauty pageant for women of Fatorda titled ‘Fatorda Queen-2015’ will be choreographed by renowned fashion designer Monty Sally.
