PONDA: Rajanidevi Prasad (25), mother of two small children and a native of Bihar, residing at Khadpaband in Ponda set herself ablaze on Tuesday evening.
Prasad committed suicide by pouring kerosene on her body and set herself on fire.
She was rushed to Sub-District Hospital and later to GMC in serious condition with 95 per cent burn injuries on her body.
Her husband who tried to douse the fire also received minor injuries.
Ponda Police is conducting further investigation.
