PANJIM: The BJP Goa Unit on Thursday announced formation of two committees — Election Management Committee and Manifesto Committee ahead of the 2022 Assembly elections.
Both the committees comprise of some sitting and former Members of Parliament, Ministers, MLAs and other senior leaders as the party claims they have made strong preparations to contest the upcoming Assembly elections. While the first committee is headed by Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Vinay Tendulkar, the second committee is headed by former Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar.
Party’s senior BJP functionaries Goa Election In-Charge Devendra Fadnavis and Desk In Charge for the State C T Ravi will arrive in Goa on December 5, in yet another visit to oversee the preparedness for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, party’s youth leader Gajanan Tilve resigned on Thursday.
