BJP plans own pre-poll survey

Amit Shah to address booth-level workers

PANJIM: Referring to recent pre-poll surveys undertaken in the State, the Bharatiya Janata Party Goa Pradesh has decided to conduct its own internal survey and declare the results by September end.
Addressing the media, BJP Goa President Vinay Tendulkar said the party has decided to go ahead with their own internal pre-poll survey and stated that they have the support of the Central government and faith in the people of Goa that will give them a majority in the 2017 Assembly elections.
Stating that BJP National president Amit Shah will visit the State on Saturday, Tendulkar said Shah will replicate the Uttar Pradesh (UP) magic in Goa. He said Shah will address booth-level workers at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium at Bambolim on Saturday.
“Addressing booth workers has been Amit Shah’s style. He had done the same thing in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand just before the Lok Sabha elections, where he got amazing results for the BJP,” Tendulkar said. Shah will also meet with BJP committee members and MLAs.
