PANJIM: While responding to queries from the media about charges levelled against him by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President, the new Leader of Opposition Michael Lobo said he did not want to comment further but said the BJP should have taken action against him when he was with the BJP and questioned why they are only speaking now when he left the BJP.

He also reacted sharply to BJP blaming him for the Sonsoddo issue and said it was him who had made sure all the paperwork was completed in solving the present issue, proposing new plants at the site.
