BICHOLIM: The Mayem unit of BJP has decided to file a police complaint against former Tivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar for holding the party responsible for death of Mayem MLA Anant Shet.
Speaking at a press conference, here, Mayem Block BJP President Daya Karbotkar denounced the statements of Kandolkar in a public meeting held at Mayem.

“It is a wrong statement by Kandolkar that Shet died because the party failed to give him the ticket during election. He had some ailments because of which he died,” Karbotkar informed adding we will file a police complaint against Kandolkar for his irresponsible statement in public.
Meanwhile, BJP Spokesperson Premanand Mhambre said that their party is working for the downtrodden and are sensitive to the problems of the people.
He also congratulated the Chief Minister for taking two major decisions regarding onion prices and Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana(DDSSY) scheme.
Mhambre also informed that from November under Swayampurna Goa, an official would go to each village.
“This would be a golden opportunity for the youth to know about various schemes from the official, who visits their village” Mhambre said.
BJP Mahila Morcha General Secretary Shilpa Naik said that the Chief Minister has taken a good decision of giving three kgs onions through fair price shops.
“As women we know how difficult it is to manage the household. Onions are very much essential for the people and the Chief Minister has taken a good decision in this regard,” Naik added.
