The BJP State Executive chaired by Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Saturday passed a resolution congratulating Parrikar and Indian Army for the successful exercise.
“It is a proud moment for the people of Goa that a son of the soil in the capacity as Defence Minister was part of the historic surgical operation,” State Party President Vinay Tendulkar said.
Tendulkar said Parrikar confirmed his arrival to the State on October 4. He said the party will host a civic reception for Parrikar at Azad Maidan, where he will arrive in a procession.
Workers from all 40 constituencies will participate in the procession which will begin from the airport.
