Vasco fire services received a call stating that a water sports boat, belonging to Aquatic Sports Company at Baina beach, had caught fire.
The fire officials rushed to the site and doused the fire in the operations that lasted for almost an hour.
The fire officials informed that the water sports boat was completely burnt and the cause of fire was not known. The loss is estimated to be Rs 5 lakh.
The fire officials said they faced a great difficulty to extend the water hose up to the fire spot, as the incident took place right on the beach.
