PONDA: Bokadbag-Bandora locals are facing water crisis since past four days, beside dust pollution due to unplanned work on underground power cabling.
The locals complained about water crisis due to damage of pipeline while undertaking underground power cabling work. They said the contractor should restore the water pipeline damaged by underground cabling work.
The workers while digging the road for trenches for power cables damaged the water connections and
instead of repairing them, buried them with mud
due to which, during high pressure, fountains of water were witnessed.
The locals said they are also facing dust pollution due to unplanned work which is going since past few months. They said neither any barricades are placed nor any signboards are installed.
While demanding proper planning in execution of underground cabling work, locals demanded that the road be repaired at the
earliest to get rid of heavy dust pollution caused by road digging.
