PANJIM: Unknown burglars broke into the bungalow of Dr Uday Kudalkar at Goa Medical College’s residential colony at Bambolim and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 15 lakh, when the family was out.
As per Agassaim police, the burglary was committed between 7.30 pm and 12.45 pm last night when the family members of Dr Kudalkar were out at their native place in Ponda.
The burglars decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 15 lakh and cash of Rs 1 lakh.
Incidentally, the bungalow has a CCTV fitted as a part of surveillance. The investigating officer has procured the footage of CCTV which is being screened to nab the culprits.
