Burglars continue to haunt Margao

There seems to be no respite to the citizens of Margao as unknown burglars struck once again at ease Monday night.
Though no case stands registered at the Margao police station, people in the know informed that miscreants burgled two shops, including a beauty parlour and a stationary shop at Pajifond last night.
Fortunately, no major item or cash was decamped from the two shops, sources said, even as the miscreants managed to effect entry inside the shops by bending the shutters.
It could not be ascertained why the police failed to register the case, even as an eyewitness informed Herald that a police sub-inspector had made his presence felt near the two shops after being intimated of the incident.
