VASCO: Vasco police during a surprise raid held in the wee hours of Monday arrested 36-year-old bus conductor Ravi Somashekar Gokak with 40 gms of ganja worth Rs 8,000 at Vasco KTC bus stand
PI Nilesh Rane said they had received information from reliable sources that the accused would come at Vasco KTC shuttle service stand to deliver the drugs to a customer between 2.15 am to 2.30 am.
Vasco police arrested the accused during the raid and seized the ganja, which the accused had hidden in his scooter.
The raid was conducted by PSI Sarvesh Sawant and the case is being investigated by PSI Ritesh Tari under the supervision of PI Nilesh Rane and SDPO Sunita Sawant.
