SALIGAO: A new bus stop with seating arrangements was inaugurated at Saligao by local MLA Jayesh Salgaonkar on Thursday morning.
The Saligao panchayat constructed the bus stop opposite the Saligao market through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding; while the tourism department constructed benches. The bus stand was built at a cost of around Rs 45,000.
On the occasion, the local MLA said that this is a good facility for the locals.
“I am grateful to Saligao panchayat, sarpanch, deputy sarpanch and panchas for working for the improvement of the village and also welfare of the people,” Salgaonkar said.
