PANJIM: Power Minister Nilesh Cabral has announced that the State Power Department will be charging the lowest power tariff in the country for charging stations of Electric Vehicles (EV).
Cabral was speaking at a Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) function said that HPCL has committed to installing fast charging stations at all fuel pumps across Goa for EVs.
Cabral also proposed that services of the Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) can be used to unload CNG carrier ships. “CNG is a non-polluting multi-purpose commodity and the port can be used as a destination for CNG imports,” said Cabral.
