Candolim approves draft RP with VP1 status

CALANGUTE, APRIL 5 (HC) — The Candolim gram sabha on Sunday unanimously approved the draft Regional Plan 2021 for Candolim with VP1 status.
The main item on the agenda at the ordinary gram sabha was the approval of the draft RP 2021 for Candolim. After a brief discussion, the gram sabha members unanimously approved the draft RP 2021.
Thereafter, discussions on the development in the village and proposals of the members were also taken up.
Earlier, Panchayat Secretary Eknath Talkar read the minutes of the previous gram sabha, which were later approved by the members.
Panch Anand Shettikar welcomed the gram sabha members, while Sarpanch Ramkrishna Kerkar proposed the vote of thanks.
Calangute MLA and gram sabha member of Candolim panchayat Agnelo Fernandes was also present for the meet.
