Cansaulim Alcoholics Anonymous Group Marks 49th Anniversary With Family Gathering

The Alcoholics Anonymous Cansaulim Group celebrated its 49th anniversary with a family get-together programme held at Three Kings Hall.

Antonio Vaz attended the event as the chief guest, while several dignitaries including Dr Sharada Mulgaonkar Patil, Dr Rajesh Patil and Girish Borkar extended their support towards establishing Alcoholics Anonymous centres in various organisations.

The programme highlighted the contribution of Alcoholics Anonymous in helping individuals recover from alcoholism in Goa since 1976 through counselling, support meetings and rehabilitation efforts.

Social worker Roquezinho D’Souza appealed to the public to encourage and support people undergoing recovery from alcohol addiction and stressed the importance of community involvement in helping individuals rebuild their lives.
