MARGAO: Margao Town police have registered a case of forgery and cheating against Thomas Gracias and his wife Maria Gracias, both residents of Sirvodem, Margao, following a complaint by Deepak Gracias, who appears to be the brother of Thomas.
According to the complaint, the duo forged the complainant’s signature on documents for construction of a bungalow, compound wall and amalgamation of property which were submitted to the SGPDA.
Deepak is a resident of Malbhat and is a sailor by profession.
and it appears that it was a case of dispute arising over ancestral property, due to souring of relationship.
