PANJIM: Crime Branch’s (CB) application seeking rejecting anticipatory bail granted to former chief minister Digambar Kamat will come up for mentioning before the Supreme Court on Friday.
The submissions will decide whether or not the application is accepted for carrying out regular hearing into the matter.
Additional Solicitor General of India will appear on behalf of the State.
Meanwhile, the CB sleuths are awaiting the pronouncement of the New Jersey district court order against former Louis Berger employee James McClung, who had confessed to bribing Goa politician and officials to get JICA project in 2010. The CB had already begun the process to record his statement via letter rogatory. It had even served summons to various LB offices in India and US for his appearance before the CB team in Goa
