MAPUSA: Calangute Constituency Forum on Tuesday submitted a 19-point memorandum to Calangute village panchayat Sarpanch and Secretary on various issues in the interest of Calangute villagers.
The issues included Marriott Occupancy, Urbanisation/Bhumiputra Bill, CZMP, Sinking Baga road, Inspection report of Gauravaddo, action against Red Thread, Complaint on petrol pump NOC, Complaint on structure in front of church, Utilisation of Panchayat funds, Misappropriation of funds case and village panchayat accounts and Audit Report.

During the meeting, CCF demanded the panchayat to provide copies of the official communication made to the concerned Government authorities to de-notify Village Calangute as URBAN area.
