PANJIM: The Corporation of the City of Panaji has issued an order directing the Bicholim Urban Cooperative Bank to remove/demolish alleged illegal encroachments in Lawande Sarmalkar Bhavan building in the City within 28 days.
The order was issued by CCP Commissioner Sanjit Rodrigues as per the provision of Section 269 of the City of the Corporation Act 2002. Rodrigues stated in the notice that the construction work in question had been done without obtaining the prior permission from the CCP.
