PANJIM: The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) will elect its new Mayor and Deputy Mayor on March 12.
The one-year long tenure of the sitting Mayor Uday Madkaikar and Deputy Mayor Pascoala Mascarenhas is due to come to an end next month. Both were elected to the post unopposed on March 15, 2019.
CCP announced that the elections will be held on March 12, while the nominations will be accepted till March 11.
