Cell phone shop burgled in Margao

MARGAO, DEC 9
Even as the Margao police claimed a breakthrough in the spate of thefts with the arrest of two separate gangs, thieves struck once again in the Commercial capital last night, this time a Cell phone shop, much to the embarrassment of men-in-uniform.
The latest theft indicates that though the police have nabbed around 11-12 persons in the last two days, there’s still another gang on the prowl in the city.
If the shop owner Shrish Kane is to be believed, the miscreants ransacked the shop after effecting entry inside through the ventilator.
The miscreants are believed to have decamped with 14 mobile sets worth Rs 80,000.
The Margao police are investigating.
