PORVORIM: Gold chain and mangalsutra worth Rs 1.30 lakh were snatched from women in separate incidents at Parra and Peddem-Mapusa on Friday.
According to Mapusa Police, Avito Harmalkar (38) of Siolim complained that two persons on a motorcycle snatched her gold mangalsutra worth Rs 1 lakh and fled from the site.
Head Constable K B Naik is investigating.
In the other incident, Puja Solanki of Peddem complained that unidentified rider and pillion rider on a motorcycle snatched gold chain worth Rs 30,000 from around her neck near Vrudavan Hospital, Peddem.
PSI S L Hunsakutti is investigating the case.
