PANJIM: With freedom fighters and their children holding a daylong protest on the government’s failure to provide them with jobs on Goa Liberation Day, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday assured to recruit all as per legal parameters.
Addressing at the Goa Liberation Day celebration, Sawant said that government is committed to provide jobs to children of freedom fighters, following all the legal parameters.
“We cannot forget the sacrifices of the freedom fighters to liberate Goa. We are committed to honour their sacrifices,” he said.
Sawant said the government would provide jobs to all children of freedom fighters and that there is no need to protest.  “Government is capable enough to ensure that jobs are provided to the freedom fighters children as per rules,” he said.
