PANJIM: Chief Secretary K K Sharma will b e transferred after the Centre decided to placate Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Sharma is being transferred to Delhi within two months of his assuming the charge of the State’s bureaucracy.
Sharma had just joined as Goa’s Chief Secretary on January 1, 2015. He will now be relieved on March 8.
According to reports, after the MoHA rejected Kejriwal’s suggestion of appointing R S Negi as the next chief secretary of Delhi, Kejriwal in a quick counter rejected the panel of three senior IAS officers recommended by MoHA.
